With an interdisciplinary vocation and integrating orientation, the Institute provides a new research platform to promote research in biomedicine and life sciences at the UB.  The Institute is comprised of scientific teams of a high research level from the schools of Biology, Chemistry and Pharmacy of the University of Barcelona that boast scientific production indicators and procurement of high-level resources within the setting of biomedical research in Catalonia and Europe.     <\/p>\n<p> <a>For more information<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tomorrow, Friday April 17, the conference \u00abAdvances in Research on Metabolic Diseases\u00bb will take place in the Aula Magna auditorium of the School of Biology.
