The first volume in the collection, which is entitled “La medida de lo humano. Ensayos de bio\u00e9tica y cine<\/a>” , was written by Ricardo Garc\u00eda-Manrique for publication in December 2008 (ISBN 978-84-612-8171). It draws on articles published by the author in the bioethics and law journal Revista de Bio\u00e9tica y Derecho<\/a> since the journals inception in 2004. The second volume is currently being prepared for publication in May 2009 to mark the tenth anniversary of the creation of the Bioethics and Law Observatory. The volume will provide an analysis of each article contained in the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights adopted by UNESCO in 2005. Participating in the volume will be members of the OBD, members of bioethics research and teaching networks, and speakers from the two international meetings hosted by the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics at the University of Barcelona. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
