Located at the Parc Cientific de Barcelona<\/i> (PCB, Barcelona Science Park), Advancell will contribute to this collaboration through its ISO 9001:2000 accreditation and its specialist experience in custom-designed research services and products based on in vitro cell models. Histocell, a recently developed company located in the Parque Tecnol\u00f3gico de Bizkaia<\/i>, will provide its specialisation and recognized experience in cell culture technologies and tissue engineering. <\/p>\n
As a first step towards the development of this agreement and on the occasion of the Biospain-Biotec Fair 2006, which has been held this week in Madrid, the two companies have announced their cooperation for the joint commercialisation of a complete catalogue of services addressing material biocompatibility. Joining the specialisations of two leading companies like Advancell and Histocell has allowed the development of a study and consultancy service on biocompatibility in vitro<\/i> to test biocompatible materials (for example prostheses, surgical and dental material, regenerative medicine, etc). <\/p>\n
