Then, Gloria Pladellorens, head of Safety, Quality and Environment, informed the attendees of everything related to laboratory safety and waste management.<\/p>\n<p>The duration of the <em>Spend the summer at the Park!<\/em> program\u00a0is from 2 to 3 months between July and September, with a minimum commitment of 5 hours a day. Practicum classes are conducted in groups that focus their activities mainly in the field of biomedicine and biotechnology. Over 400 students participated in previous years. According to assessment surveys, both students and tutors, reported to be highly satisfied with this collaboration, a fact which is confirmed by the relationship that previous articipants have maintained with their research group once the practicum program was completed.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Spend the summer at the Park!<\/em>\u00a0program\u00a0is carried out with the collaboration of the\u00a0Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fecyt.es\/en\/info\/presentation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FECYT<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0Ministry of Economy, Industry and\u00a0Competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The welcome ceremony to participants of the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/recercaensocietat.wordpress.com\/practiques\/passa-lestiu-al-parc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spend the summer at the Park!<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>program as held today, Monday, July 10.
