Among those selected is Dr. Alejo Rodr\u00edguez-Fraticelli, head of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irbbarcelona.org\/en\/news\/institutional\/dr-alejo-rodriguez-fraticelli-named-new-embo-young-investigator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Quantitative Stem Cell Dynamics laboratory<\/a> at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/en\/empresa\/institut-de-recerca-biomedica-irb-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IRB Barcelona<\/a>), located in the Barcelona Science Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This distinction is a recognition of the outstanding scientific career and the potential of the research on the individual variability of stem cells and its impact on tissue development and disease led by <strong>Dr. Alejo Rodr\u00edguez-Fraticelli<\/strong>, ICREA research professor. The researcher joins a leading network that brings together more than 800 scientists in cutting-edge areas of biomedicine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing part of this programme is an extraordinary opportunity. It broadens our scientific network and provides us with new resources to accelerate our research. The programme includes initial economic support of 15,000 euros, with the possibility of requesting up to 10,000 euros additional euros each year, and offers multiple opportunities for networking, scientific meetings, and active participation in a highly dynamic international community.
