“Reimagine Science” programme has selected the finalists who will compete in the Final Gala

Yesterday, January 10, the jury of “Reimagine Science: clinical trials, research and drug development” programme announced the 9 finalist videos that will compete to win this second edition, in which more than 1,750 students from 52 schools from all over Catalonia have participated.

The initiative, promoted by Novartis Spain in collaboration with Big Van Ciencia and the Barcelona Science Park, aims to bring clinical research closer to ESO and Baccalaureate students and teachers to reflect together, and through new formats, on the importance, development, and the factors and actors involved.

The jury valued, among others, aspects such as scientific and technological content, clarity, connection with the audience, the charisma of the performers, exposure and originality. The 9 videos selected as finalists are:

• “La història d’una vacuna” – Col·legi Claret  (Barcelona).
• “No soc llegenda, soc vacuna” –  Col·legi Sagrada Família (Gavà).
• “L’apocalipsi” – Escola Projecte (Barcelona).
• “L’assaig clínic no va funcionar” – Escola Sant Jaume FPE (Hospitalet de Llobregat).
• “Breu història dels assajos clínics” – IES Caterina Albert (Barcelona).
 “Aplicant coneixements!” – IES La Sedeta (Barcelona).
• “La història d’un fàrmac” – Institut Celestí Bellera (Granollers).
• “La dieta mediterrània” – Institut Marina (La Llagosta).
• “Assajos clínics” – Liceo Egara (Terrassa).
