The European biotechnology sector to meet in Hamburg Blog Post

Hamburg will host this year, from November 11 to 13, the 25th edition of BIO-Europe, the most important partnering event for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry in Europe, organized by EBD-Group. Biocat, the organization that coordinates and promotes the healthcare and life sciences sector in Catalonia, from its headquarters in the Barcelona Science Park (PCB), will be at the fair and help raise awareness of Catalan presence internationally. The event will feature, once again, an outstanding representation of the PCB Community.

 

The Barcelona Science Park has strong presence at BIO-Europe Spring Blog Post

BIO-Europe Spring (BES) –the spring edition of the most important partnering congress in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry in Europe– returns to Barcelona in 20-22 March 2017 at the CCIB Convention Centre. After the success of the 2010 and 2013 editions, more than 100 companies and organizations from the BioRegion will be participating in the fair, twice as many as the previous year. This edition features remarkable presence of the Barcelona Science Park (PCB) and a large number of companies and entities from PCB Community.

 

Broad participation of Barcelona Science Park at BioSpain 2016 Blog Post

The Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC) in Barakaldo (Bizkaia) will host  BioSpain 2016, the 8th edition of the eighth edition of this biennial event of biotechnology, the largest in Europe with permanent headquarters in one country and the fifth in the world ranking by number of partnering meetings. The event, to be held from 28 to 30 September, will bring together more than 2,000 attendees, 855 companies and nearly 50 investors- and will feature the participation of the Barcelona Science Park (PCB) and a large number of companies and entities of the PCB Community.

 

Catalan biotech sector to meet in Stockholm Blog Post

The sixteenth edition of the BIO-Europe Spring (BES), the main springtime partnering conference of the sector, takes place this year in Stockholm from 4th to 6th April. The Catalan delegation, coordinated by Biocat once again, will be formed by 24 companies and entities –among which are the companies BioingeniumEsteveIntelligent Pharma and Iproteos, based at the Barcelona Science Park (PCB)–, representing more than a half of the Spanish participation at the event.

The Bosch i Gimpera Foundation–based at the Barcelona Science Park (PCB)– organised the third edition of Crea!Empresa an initiative born with the objective of encouraging the university community to create technology-based companies. The event took place on the 10 of November at the Cluster Building, Fèlix Serratosa Hall at the PCB. The objective of the session was to share the experiences of the entrepreneurs of today with the entrepreneurs of tomorrow so that this exchange becomes the source of motivation for the birth of new initiatives.
