The Platform provides technology for scientific community as well as private companies offering a wide range of proteomic services from separation and analysis of protein expression by bidimensional electrophoresis to high-throughput protein identification.

The Proteomics Platform provides support to the public research field as well as the private research field. Most of the Platform users are researchers linked to public institutions, particularly to Parc Cientific de Barcelona scientific community including la Universitat de Barcelona (UB), el Consell Superior d’Investigacions Científiques (CSIC), l’Institut de Recerca Biomèdica (IRB Barcelona), l’Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS), among others .

The Platform provides also support to other research groups across Cataluña and the rest of Spain such as la Universitat de Lleida (UdL), la Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), la Universidad de Murcia, la Universidad de Granada, la Universidad de Vigo, el Centro Nacional de Biotecnología, among others. The Platform also collaborates with international institutions from Portugal, Cuba, Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
