Equipped with state-of-the-art apparatus and staffed by highly specialized personnel, the Technology Platforms provide support services,
which form a highly competitive technology reference centre for the pharmaceutical and fine chemistry industries. These platforms not only offer services but they also actively participate in research projects, platform networks, technology development projects and agreements.
The Platforms are characterized by their strategic value, which makes them indispensable for the public and private R+D sectors. The main activities developed by the Technological Platforms are devoted to research support, technology development (establishment of new methodologies) and research projects.
Most of these facilities are joint initiatives between UB Scientific and Technical Services (SCT-UB) , the Institut d'Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS, August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Institute) and the Park. |
