Company specialising in research, development and innovation in the field of advanced active ingredients for the cosmetics industry. Infinitec Activos was created in 2004 and designs new active ingredients with different properties – anti-ageing, whitening, slimming, etc. – using a number of techniques including nanotechnology applications and peptide synthesis. Its researchers have used scientific knowledge previously applied only to pharmaceutical products to develop innovative active ingredients for adjusting existing cosmetic products to the specific requirements of their customers. The firm was awarded the Ofici Emprenedor prize in 2007 for collaboration betwen the university and the firm. It has been awarded Genesis and Concept Capital grants from CIDEM and a Neotec grant from CDTI.
