Our research aims at the obtention of small libraries of peptidomimetics and conformationally constrained pseudopeptides by replacement of some amino acids of natural peptides by functionalized 3-aminolactam surrogates.

We are currently developing the following subjects:

- Inhibitors of HIV-1 protease dimerization

- Mimetics of miraziridine A as cathepsin inhibitors

- Mimetics of melanotan II as anticancer agents

- Mimetics of stylostatin 1 as antibiotics acting on the procariot cell membrane
